Kitchen and Dining Room

Residents are given the option of cooking their own meals on a regular basis, and providing they have undertaken Basic Food Hygiene / Food Safety Certificate (and been certified competent), they can also cook for other residents.

The dining room is also a place for residents and staff to meet, eat and relax!

Our chef prepares delicious freshly made meals from scratch
We provide a healthy supply of fresh vegetables and fruit.

Favourite meals are provided where possible and we cater or different diets (halal, vegetarian etc).  A variety of snacks and drinks are available 24 hours a day.

Residents are included in menu planning with chef, which involves Resident Consultation meetings including one-to-one sessions with the Manager.

As part of their recovery, residents are encouraged to cook for themselves at tea time.  We have regular food preparation and cooking sessions to help support the residents who require some guidance and assistance.  There is also the option for residents to cook their own breakfast most days.

Residents are given the option to gain the ‘Basic Food Hygiene / Food Safety Certificate’ (and are encouraged to do so)
